The Psoriasis Vereniging Nederland (PVN) has its own bimonthly magazine called “Psoriasis”. I design the layout and do the art direction for the cover. Ingo Caly usually makes the cover picture. This is the edition of February 2018, in which I’ve applied a slight make over accounting for the new merger organisation – Psoriasispatiënten Nederland (PN) – to publish the magazine.
My proposal for the merger organisation Psoriasispatiënten Nederland (PN). PN is a result of the merger between the three former organisations dealing with psoriasis: PVN, PFN and Psorinovo. I made this logo out of my own initiative, because of the – in my opinion – poorly designed logo that had been selected for the new organisation. Sadly, my proposal eventually was ignored.
The proposal’s main idea is synergy, directed at the future. Therefore is was named “Together forward”. I deliberately omitted design elements from the three former organisation, to create a completely new logo. There had also been incorporated other more subtle associations, like a cell structure, etc.
